We are excited to share the news that Gairmeach Training is part of yet another successful consortium for a European Union project! Our second project, PROMOTE, is led by Stiftelsen Kursverksamheten vid UAUniversitet in Sweden, and focuses on enhancing career opportunities for some of Europe’s most skilled yet vulnerable women.
About the PROMOTE Project
PROMOTE is a pioneering initiative aimed at supporting highly skilled migrant women, including those displaced by the conflict in Ukraine, in overcoming career integration challenges. The project seeks to unlock the full potential and talent of these women, facilitating their meaningful integration into the European labour market. By 2026, PROMOTE aims to upskill over 50 vocational education and training (VET) educators and more than 75 highly skilled Ukrainian and migrant women, thereby contributing to a more inclusive and dynamic workforce across Europe.
Key Project Activities
As part of the PROMOTE project, Gairmeach Training, along with our consortium partners, will be engaged in several crucial activities:
Anticipated Outcomes
The PROMOTE project is expected to have a significant and lasting impact on the European labour market. By bridging the gap between the skills of highly skilled migrant women and the needs of employers, PROMOTE will help to address the talent shortages that many companies are experiencing.
For employers, this project offers access to a valuable pool of talent that has been underutilised until now. For the women involved, PROMOTE represents a crucial opportunity to realise their full career potential, gain meaningful employment, and contribute to their new communities.
Moreover, the project will advance the work of our partners in promoting economic empowerment, social integration, and gender equality across Europe. These efforts are not only timely but essential in building a more inclusive and resilient European workforce.
Looking Forward
We at Gairmeach Training are immensely proud to be part of the PROMOTE project. This initiative aligns with our commitment to fostering inclusive education and employment opportunities, and we are eager to contribute to the success of such a vital cause.
As we embark on this journey, we look forward to collaborating with our partners, supporting the highly skilled women involved, and making a positive impact on the European labour market. This project is yet another step forward in our mission to provide innovative and impactful training solutions across Europe.
